Brian Flynn & Co. are merging with DMB.

We are pleased to advise that the Firm and staff of Brian Flynn & Co (formerly of Clinton Flynn) will merge with David M Breen & Co with effect from January 1st 2019.

David M Breen & Co is a long-established local firm with two Partners and a complement of professionally qualified staff.

This merger will consolidate the firms as one of the top accountancy practices in Waterford. The larger firm will bring many years of experience to the table and provide a wider and enhanced array of services to all clients while maintaining the reputation for personal service that each firm holds.

Post-merger, all activities will operate from the offices of David M Breen & Co, Wallace House, Maritana Gate, Canada Street, Waterford with all staff located at these premises.

Waterford Tech Firm starts trading on Irish Stock Markets

Waterford Tech Firm VR Education Holding PLC started trading on the Irish Stock Market. David Breen & Jenny Kiely from our office were delighted to join Sandra & David Whelan at today’s admission of VR Education Holdings PLC to the Irish Stock Exchange.

Local Property Tax deadline imminent

This Wednesday, 7 January 2015, is the latest date for paying LPT for 2015 in full by cash, cheque, postal order, credit card or debit card. Wednesday is also the final date for agreeing payment by Single Debit Authority. Homeowners who wish to make payment by Single Debit Authority have until this Wednesday 7 January 2015 to agree this payment method with Revenue. The payment will be debited from bank accounts on 21 March 2015, unless an earlier date is agreed. Where monthly direct debit method is used for 2015 they will start on 15 January and continue on the 15th of each month thereafter

Inspiring Women in Business

Caroline Bannon and Clair Grant from David M. Breen & Co  joined ‘Inspiring Women in Business’ event last week run by the Waterford Chamber of Commerce.  Keynote speaker was Heather Reynolds, Founder and Director of Eishtec.

In the three short years since its foundation, Eishtec has gone on offer an impressive volume of employment across Waterford and Wexford and contributes an estimated €23million to the local economy, through workforce spending. And while the company is an outsourced contact centre dealing primarily with the UK, employees are living, working and socialising in the South East and in turn making a significant investment in the region.
